The 1982 Convention provides for the following means of dispute settlement which states parties may choose:

A、 the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea.;

B、 the International Court of Justice;

C、an arbitral tribunal under Annex VII;

D、a special arbitral tribunal under Annex VIII for special disputes
